In TilePlanner, there are two distinct types of furnishing items: 3D objects and modular (or configurable) furnishings.
Modular furnishings, which are also called configurable items, give you the opportunity to adjust and customize some of their properties, such as size, color, finishing, accessories, and more. 3D objects, on the other hand, are static objects that cannot be changed.
It can be hard to tell whether an item in TilePlanner is a static 3D object or a configurable item.
When you enter the Furnishing section of the Components Window, you first have to choose the category of item you are searching for, then the collection from which you wish to pick the item.
Within each collection, you can see whether it contains static 3D objects or modular furnishings. Here are a few tips to help you identify them and add them to your project:
