In TilePlanner, you can navigate within a project in a simple and intuitive way by choosing the movement mode that best suits the type of view you want to use. The available modes are Walk, Orbit, and Automatic.
Walk Mode
Walk Mode is designed to let you explore the project as if you were physically moving inside the environment.
With this mode, you can:
• use the mouse wheel to move forward or backward;
• hold down the left mouse button to change the view, as if you were turning your head;
• hold down the right mouse button to move up, down, right, and left.
This mode is ideal for visiting the room from the inside and checking the result from a realistic point of view.
Orbit Mode
Orbit Mode allows you to move around the project and view it from different angles. It is useful when you want to get a broader view of the environment or check the project from the outside.
With this mode, you can:
• use the mouse wheel to move forward or backward;
• hold down the left mouse button to change the view and rotate around the project;
• hold down the right mouse button to move in all directions.
This mode is particularly useful for analyzing the scene as a whole and quickly changing the viewing point.
Automatic Mode
Automatic Mode adjusts the navigation behavior based on your current position.
When you are inside the room, TilePlanner behaves as it does in Walk Mode, allowing you to explore the environment in a realistic way.
When you are outside the room, TilePlanner behaves as it does in Orbit Mode, allowing you to view the project from an external perspective and move freely around the scene.
This mode is recommended if you want to switch automatically between internal and external navigation without manually changing the setting.
